For stubborn or more severe molluscum outbreaks, we recommend a combination of ZymaDerm™ and Phase II Jojoba Body Wash. This mild exfoliant is in an apricot scented shampoo formulation that contains jojoba beads, the tiny seeds of an herb. It will painlessly remove the few outer layers of dead skin cells to enable ZymaDerm™ to work even more effectively.
Most people don’t require the exfoliant body wash, because ZymaDerm™ alone works without it in the vast majority of cases.
If you are treating a stubborn or severe case of molluscum, first use ZymaDerm™ alone for 5 days before beginning the Phase II Jojoba Body Wash. This reduces any risk, however slight, of spreading the molluscum by rubbing.
To use the Phase II Jojoba Body Wash, apply a small amount to the affected skin, lather with water, and rub gently with a washcloth for 20 seconds. Rinse, pat dry, and apply ZymaDerm™. Use the exfoliant once a day before the evening application of ZymaDerm™, but apply ZymaDerm™ in the morning without the exfoliant.
